I have the opposite problem. I am 300 pounds and have lost 100 pounds in the last year and a half. Now I have reached a point where I do not have any more energy to lift weights. I love running, biking, and dancing in my apartment. What would you suggest for me? I know muscle burns fat more, but I don't have spunk for weight.
The first question I would ask is how did you lose the weight? Most people who lose weight in a healthy way have more energy and not less. You may want to consult your doctor about your energy level.
Another good question is how much cardio are you doing? It’s possible you might be doing too much cardio and that is what is making you feel to rundown to lift weights. Write me back and let me know what kind of training you are doing right now.
By the way, I always encourage everyone to dance around in their apartment. It’s even better if you are dancing around in your underwear. It makes you feel free.
